Hex monofilament UPPER · 38 G/M²
Single-layer monofilament woven into 1 mm hexagonal cells. Translucent, non-stretch, unlined. It creases instead of stretching, which is exactly what keeps your foot on the platform in the corners.
Carbon around the foot. Not under it.
A carbon rim wraps the foam instead of splitting it. Your forefoot sinks into bare AERFOAM X; the rail catches you at the edges and rolls you forward.
The toe sits 34 mm off the ground. The roll starts at 59% of the length, just behind the metatarsal heads, so the shoe tips you forward at the exact moment your calf would start working.
Monofilament woven into 1 mm hexagonal cells. It doesn't give under load and it doesn't hold water, so the fit at 40K is the fit you laced at the start line.
One continuous carbon rim runs the whole perimeter: heel, both sides, toe. The centre stays open, so the foam under your foot compresses freely and springs back in full. A single keystone bridge keeps the rim square under the arch.
Soft foam on top, the rail, firm foam underneath, rubber only where you land and toe off. No heel counter, no insole board, no glue you'll ever carry up a hill.
Built for one job: holding marathon pace when your legs have stopped agreeing to it.
Weighed on a US men's 9. Stack measured at the centre of the heel and under the first metatarsal head, with the sockliner in.

Halden Lakeshore Marathon, 12 April 2026. 6 °C, still air, a flat causeway loop run twice.
“I stopped thinking about my calves at 30K. That has never happened to me in a marathon.”Maren Solvik, after the finish
Solvik ran the second half sixteen seconds faster than the first, and her quickest 5K came between 35 and 40 kilometres. She raced in a pre-production pair with 180 km on them.

Studio renders of the production model, the same geometry you turned above.

Single-layer monofilament woven into 1 mm hexagonal cells. Translucent, non-stretch, unlined. It creases instead of stretching, which is exactly what keeps your foot on the platform in the corners.

Supercritically foamed and split in two so each layer can do one job: the top layer is soft for landing, the bottom layer is firmer so the rail has something to push against.

A 2×2 twill rim with an upturned flange that shows on the sidewall. Stiff exactly where the foot rolls off and absent where it lands: the centre of the rail is open.

Two pads and nothing more: a chevron-siped forefoot for toe-off and a crescent on the lateral heel for the first touch. Everything else is bare foam you don't have to carry for 42 kilometres.
